The frame is tapered on one side to help you easily see which way up each length of frame should be.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eYou may need a small amount of force to get these into the correct position. Kitchen worktops or hardback books make good, flat surfaces to push against if required. The frame is pine, not oak... too much force will break it so take your time.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eStep 3: on a clean flat surface such as a table or a kitchen worktop lay your artwork face down. A handy step to do first is to mark the corners of your design by either allowing light to shine through or by using a small pin.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOnce your corners are located position your frame with the curved edge facing up and the flat edge against the canvas, then use the supplied pins to push through the folded canvas and into that inner curved edge. Start with one side then pull the canvas tight and do the opposite side, by locating the pin into the curved inside edge you should be able to gently pull against it and making the canvas tort. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFinally once you've done the 4 edges, turn the canvas over and check the edges. If it isn't quite right or you think you could do it better, use a flat, blunt edge such as a teaspoon handle to gently prise the area you want to change and then reposition. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eNo glue, no fuss.
